Why the new name "zaps" for sending (custodial/fiat) sats?
You have to ask the product owner. But as a feature it needs to have a name. What would you call it? “Sending sats”?

That’s just another (new) name.
Personally I like “zaps”. But like the Twitter and X naming, everyone has its own liking 😉
