🤡 Hacker who stole 51,680 BTC from Silk Road in 2012 gets only 1 year in prison

According to Williams, Zhong stole BTC in 2012 and managed to hide his crime for about 10 years before he was charged.

U.S. authorities confiscated bitcoin assets at Zhong's home in Georgia in November 2021, after finding most of the bitcoin in a floor safe and a computer hidden in a popcorn tin. At the time, the coins were worth an estimated $3.4 billion.
