Was a lot of fun, and truly some of the most gorgeous forests I have ever been in.
The first locale, with all the moss hanging from the trees, especially the gnarled and twisted oaks, made me feel like I was walking through a high fantasy novel.
The second had such incredibly clear water running through that creek, and all of the mountains around us were made up of layer upon layer of solid, smooth, stone, which is how the natural water slide was formed. It's also why the roots in that picture of the downed tree were entirely flat on the bottom. They could not go any deeper than that due to the flat rock just below the surface.
