I don't think it's ideal neither, but it's the least confusing UX I could think of.

Users will probably only want to give a certain npub either more or nothing at all (in the latter case it should then stay fix on zero percent btw)

Using your Top-to-Bottom idea seems confusing to me and involves calculation and forethought, things I really want to avoid. Or I might have misunderstood it. Is there a particular order to the splits?

Love the way it looks Amethyst-style! Great and fast job on the UI, wow. Happy to see the spacing work out on mobile as well with sliders and profile pics inline.

As for the calculations you're doing in the background, they are not intuitive to me personally (n of 1). I don't understand why sometimes another slider (not on zero) moves or doesn't move.

Yeah that is the worst part. But it's bottom up. The last item changes first, the the second to last, etc. The idea is that users start defining their percentages from the top. And if they are adjusting middle ones the top ones don't change until needed.
