Yikes! Good job. I was just teaching a friend about the importance of this, but admittedly I told him most people never do it and neither have I. I probably should! Did you use a special tool or technique to get that stuff out?

Just pulled it out with my hand. Might replace the vent with one that has a cage over it to keep the birds out.
