Budget is dynamically increasing lol
Space is 8' x 8' to grow within a room within a basement. Limited windows.
So far my thoughts are buy seeds, paper towel germination, plant in soil, LED lights. 18/6 for a few months then 12/12 light cycle.
I may do only one seed one plant at a time and really experiment. I want to do hydroponics, buy right now I'm working on a minimum viable product. Just make it work, can I grow a plant, can I get buds.
If you want very nice lights I would go with grower’s choice 720s. Get the controller too. If those are too expensive, just buy cheap LEDs. But LED all the way.
Also I would skip paper towel germination. I would just go straight into some lightly built dirt. Wet and keep under a CFL light in a warm spot.

- Mars Hydro TSW2000 300W Dimmable Full Spectrum LED Grow Light
- Ocean Forest Potting Mix
- idk about ph testing yet, but I think around 6-6.8 ph level.
One seed at a time as an experiment. Then maybe get a grow tent. But first just get a plant to sprout and to vegetation stage.
