Have you looked at companionship gardening? A friend manages regenerative projects and it’s astonishing the difference. No pesticides or herbicides, 35% higher yield and they document species variety of insects and it’s quite an impressive increase. He does this in Costa Rica so not sure their plans would work wherever you are

Yes! I do companion planting in my beds! The labels show the main crop I’m going to grow but I’ll put at least 3 different things in each one. I like to do marigolds and basil with my tomatoes ❤️
What these guy do is based on loads of research from Cuba. After USA put embargo, they needed to increase food production. Lots of time went in. If curious to see bed layouts they use here, let know and I’ll ask friend for the pdf. Might give some ideas
