One of the reasons I think I was able to get #bitcoin so readily is because I've had to live life on my own. I've always had a rocky relationship with my dad, to the point we no longer speak. My mom has never been financially stable. So I moved halfway across the country and survived on my own. I remember having $20 for food to get me through two weeks until next paycheck. I told myself I'd never let it get that bad ever again. Enter #btc where I can now store my value and always have my own fall back.

living a life of one's own is so underrated, where you have to support yourself without help from immediate community - it's the prerequisite of becoming a sovereign individual i believe.
