-THE BORACAY ISLAND LIFE-

Jal Mahal, the "Water Palace"

Jal Mahal, or "Water Palace," is a stunning palace located in the middle of Lake Man Sagar in Jaipur, India.

Built in the 18th century by Maharaja Jai Singh II, it is an elegant example of Rajput and Mughal architecture.

Only the top floor of the five-story palace is visible above the water, while the other floors are submerged. The palace was used for hunting and recreation, providing a cool haven, especially in the summer months.

Today, a tourist attraction, Jal Mahal offers a visual feast with its location on the lake and the surrounding Aravalli Hills. However, the interior is closed to the public.

My thoughts too. They mentioned it can only be viewed from the outside, but the interior looks pretty intact.
