noStrudel seems to render this the wrong way around, where it looks like you're the author of the quote and your own comments is hard to see.

Mmm, maybe the nip01 fallback should start with "> " (for each quoted paragraph)
unfortunately highlights were not spec'd that way, but that would have been a nice fallback
