Let's hope not. But our goal is to make it work with personal relays. So, it will consume bandwidth.

Unfortunately it is. This is the first startup of Amethyst bandwidth usage before i even touch anything but checking the Relay section:

This happens when the relay has no `REQ` limit on `limit` filter.

Usually most relays are limiting to REQ with `limit` 100 events. So this thing does not seems impacting much on a single strfry relay.

But for a relay that does not has that limit, here is the hard consequences.

It's not only that. There is something else going on. I have to use paid relays without limits and it never gets over 10MB.

This relay is buggy. I am talking to you all this time and my max is 6MB on downloads.

Good point. But still found it somewhat heavy to have it load 2-4 MB of stuffs at first boot (Notably: 3G network speed)

I think you are exaggerating. Most non nostr apps do more than 2-4mb on first boot. Images alone will explode that amount. Even single webpages are in that range.
