It’s tough. It’s a transitional period where alternatives are often not available or not as usable.
Very glad I use Bitwarden for most of my TOTP codes. It also backs up and syncs but it's end to end encrypted.
Of course I also use FIDO2 whenever possible. Did you know that both a Ledger and a Trezor can be used for FIDO2 like a Yubikey?
