I wouldn't dare, I don't want to get stung a million times.
That's kind of what got me out of it. Between missing a queen cell, swarms, me sweating in a suit during the summer over them, varroa, and a bear knocking the hives over and that sting day... I just don't think I was built for it 😂
Literally everyone here except me is a beekeeper.
Former, only 4 years.
I just found them so interesting.
Never sold any honey, only harvested once.
It was more just to learn. Absolutely beautiful creatures. But. Too much for me at the time.
Everyone on nostr is a beekeeper OR former beekeeper who is going to return to beekeeping. 🫂🫡😽
