for example i also bought amazon in 1997.

then came the hitech crash. amazon shares lost 50% or more. most sold off.

amazon did not make any profit for more than 14 years. it was extremely frustrating to hold.

i held on. the rest is history.

i am still holding on. but i turned a lot of shares into bitcoin and most dividends.
