The dollar system survives because the base layer is elastic.
They print, tweak rates, and bail out failures so the synthetic tower of IOUs and derivatives can keep standing.
Bitcoin is the opposite.
Supply is fixed. No bailouts, no emergency liquidity, no “print button.”
Bad bets get wiped out. Capital misallocation gets exposed. The market clears honestly.
Any IOU system built above Bitcoin that tries to recreate fiat tricks becomes a skyscraper on shifting sand.
The base layer won’t bend to save it.
That’s the whole difference.
