Because we live in a society where we are supposed to love our families no matter what 🤷‍♀️. I don't really know, I just know that once hubs and I started doing Thanksgiving with friends, it became an enjoyable experience instead of dread that nothing was going to be right. I highly recommend it, I really do love my family but they are not my favorite people to spend special time with.
