Old hens still got it! Occasionally.

When you first get your hens once they begin laying they will do so just about every day their first year. Then they start slowly down. It’s very normal.

My old girls lay about every two ir three days. My olive-egger lays less than that. Her beautiful green eggs are a happy break from all the brown.

Today seven of my eight girls earned their keep.
