UK is Kings land, how is that working out?
It's the king's land till it isn't, or it's the new king's land.
I think I get some of the cultural aversion
Alex Krainer meanted some evidence that king George was poisoned, so really in 1775 UK was not a led by a sovereign. king George was the oligarch's avatar. I want a mechanism to elect an avatar for the people.
e.g. If all the good mechanics choose a new king, any work after their bill's are covered must be paid in money with their chosen king's head on it.
