Is it worth watching movies at their release date?

Consider seeing Oppenheimer tomorrow (tbh not sure if they even have tickets available anymore)

Being in a really excited theater crowd can add something to the experience. I’ll be honest and say I prefer the etiquette exhibited at a film festival rather than the average American cinema. I think some people have forgotten they’re not watching a film at home.

people don’t ever dare talking in the cinema theatres over here. the culture is completely different 💜

Maybe I need to come over there to watch movies.

Hm. My American movie theater experiences have typically been fine, but you and I are probably in different locales.

I might be picky. I want cell phones away and lips zipped. My own mother is too chatty during films.

I did like going to the AMC Burbank to see a new release. If you stayed for the credits you’d normally hear someone who worked on the film talking to a friend about their role.

I don’t think silence is too much to ask for!

people really love and appreciate silence and private space here 💜

Are they quiet talkers? I feel like everyone is yelling all the time here. I hate when people ask me to speak up and make me feel like I have to yell. I really don’t think I’m that quiet of a person.

Yeah, I would say so 💜

I may have to move.

Though I’ve been told by friends and family they think I would like Prague.

Prague’s great, been there twice 💜

Food is amazing, lovely people, culture and architecture.

If you have a remote job from US also, living there is a breeze
