Don’t know where you’re based but if you’re ever in the UK it’s open to the public some days or, as in this case, they can do private sessions. Apparently they have a lot of film sound designers in. I was helping a visual artist with a video project. The only downside was I was working for someone and couldn’t just play with all the things I wanted to… but very cool all the same, he’s got Stanley Kubrick’s old film editing desk in there, plus so much weird and wonderful audio gear I could’ve happily spent many hours there.
