There was an inquiry into the government's use of the Emergencies Act to squash last year's trucker protest. After hundreds of hours of testimony, it was found (by the Liberal government appointed commissioner), that the use of the act was justified.

Sad day for Canada, and a dangerous precedent created.

JFC.. come to the US. At least you can buy an AK47 here. Just gotta live in Texas or somewhere else that will protect your freedoms to an extent.

I understand the sentiment of not wanting to abandon an area. Heard it many times. Personally I refuse to support hostile regimes with taxes and economic output.

Hell I will intentionally avoid buying products if they are advertised as being made in or from certain places.
