I'm currently dealing with a miscegenating niece, and we are refusing to participate in the "acceptance ritual" for the sake of my own girls and the in-laws all clutching their pearls and condemning us as hethans. I don't know what flavor of Christianity requires we sacrifice our children to the feelings of adults.
