Not sure if you know but what you are talking about primarily US evangelical Protestant Christians and most can explain why to you. Its not all Christians and has a complex answer. I don't share that view and believe me it is a frustrating situation that is being funded by the ruling party in Israel.
I should have said most cannot explain it in a deep or rational way. Plenty can but not most in my experience. It's something I heard growing up and never understood. Once I started digging into it a whole lot of things unraveled around it.
