What was your journey in learning French?
I can’t believe I’m giving bitcoin interviews in French 🇫🇷
If I could tell my 19 year old self that in my 30s I would be giving fully fluent (or fluent enough) bitcoin interviews in French while in Switzerland having hosted a talk at a bitcoin conference…
…He would’ve looked at the joint he’s smoking and said
Sacré bleu, bro!
Did I buy skunk not weed?
Big thanks to nostr:npub1uugudd7ussaqv2ntkzhvf92jgczth6vzcv8vq2vryqxn6pdm7czqgve3dq for having me on.
Merci Les gars !!

Ooof good question!
Had a really great French and Spanish teacher when I was a teenager who inspired me.
Had a holiday to SW France.
French girls.
Realising that learning other languages help you learn your own a little better.
Then studied it at uni but that it sucked my love for it.
Then worked at French companies in really small French villages as a young adult.
And my first grad job was selling ski holidays and hotels for a French company.
So I guess it’s mostly time in the country + liking the culture and way of life.
With Portuguese I’m less inspired by the language. Spanish less so. I’ve never stopped to really wonder why.
Keep going my brother
