Replying to Avatar Matt

Just had a memory crop up on the book of faces, this was from 6 years ago last night, when I spoke at the Brighton Digital Festival on #bitcoin and held the floor for an hour and a half. That's me, behind all the shrubbery on the left 😆

It was the first time I'd done a talk with a microphone and amp and of course that meant I had to play at first, making ghost noises and hearing the echo from all the speakers.

Bloody entertaining evening...

I'm generally quite happy being the centre of attention 😄 but on this occasion I was a bit nervous - it was a good crowd though and the nerves went away the moment I started talking and I could see them engaging 🤙😎

I'd definitely be up for it, the last few years since the lock downs and the fire have been hard and my focus has been on rebuilding and recovering but now my headspace is focused on making stuff again it might be fun to revisit the old traveling talks idea

If it’s something you like and something that can sustain you and cover your expenses then it’s a great idea!
