The Epidaurus Theater in Greece, with a history spanning more than 2,300 years, can accommodate 14,000 spectators and is renowned for its outstanding acoustics.

The Epidaurus Theater was built in the 4th century BCE and is considered one of the best-preserved ancient theaters.

The design of the theater's seats and stage allows for optimal sound distribution, enabling performers' voices to carry effortlessly to all spectators.

The theater, along with the rest of the archaeological site of Epidaurus, has been recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1988.

Today, the Epidaurus Theater continues to host performances during the annual Athens and Epidaurus Festival.

That's amazing 🤩👏 Truly a spectacular venue. The atmosphere there must be unbelievable. What kind of shows can you see there, and is it a regular occurrence?

They show ancient Greek theater there during the summer months. This one in particular was the play 'The Bacchae' by Evripides. It was very hot that night. They play without microphones and you can hear very well all the way up to the upper seats. They also provide English subtitles 😉

I just became a Wim Hof Method instructor 😉 One of my ideas is to offer and combine a Wim Hof method workshop with a travel to ancient Greek sites. Then you come by 🫂
