Twice, once with my ex on shrooms, and the second time with my parents, not on shrooms - both times were awesome for different reasons
Im going in late September, early August. It's the main tour I want to take. We booked the Gran Canyon Railway with the observation dome.
Will probably also take shrooms π€£π€£π€£
The time we took shrooms we flew out of an airstrip at the canyon just after dawn, so it was all pretty chill and only a few minutes of transit to the canyon itself. The second time with the rents was out of Las Vegas and it was cheaper but the transit was longer and less time in the canyon itself and, well, Vegas baby!

Yes, but it was about 15 years ago. Still, it was great and I can highly recommend it!

Yes ... kinda cool. Very cookie cutter service. For that much money you'd think they'd make it feel more special.
Would I do it again? Sure.
Hiking Havasu Falls was more magical, and you can chopper out of there as well, although you don't get to fly for very long.

Yes we have. Pilot played Dragging the Line and Riders on the Storm during flight and a song from Apocalypse Now as skimmed the tree tops and emerged over the canyon. As you can tell it made an impression.
