How do we think EVs will or will not affect global oil demand in coming years?

Good question. With the energy need to charge them Id be curious to see the consumption changes in the power plants that use oil
Same. Cathie Wood talks about this a lot but don’t hear much from Lyn Alden or Luke Gromen about how this may or may not play into their oil / energy thesis.
If EV drive down demand/price of fossil fuels, people will simply consume more of them.
There’s an economic principle or “law” that describes this but I can’t find it atm.
