Geoffrey Hinton, a pioneer in the field of artificial intelligence (AI), has left Google after ten years. He is now warning of the dangers that AI poses.

What do you think? Should we pause AI?

We can't, because not everybody will be game. There is an incentive so development will continue. We shouldn't fear it because what good is that gonna bring us?

I also think it's going to bring great change... but there also is a risk of thing going out of control.

It is not even possible to pause this game. Nobody will.... because you will end up in last place if you pause and the others don't.

So everybody will proceed the progress.

AI might change our lives just like electricity/internet/ or... bitcoin 😉

Is he sensing "Universal soldier" kind of thing can happen?

We can't stop the development of AI. If Google, IBM, Microsoft, etc all decide to stop or the United States decides to stop, that doesn't mean that China or Russia will. The United States would fall behind and the implications could be disastrous. We're in another space race here, IMO.

You might be right about that, but if so, it’s Moloch all the way down.

Nobody will stop researching.. because then you will end up last in the AI race.

So it is a running proces that can't be stopped.

In 10 years AI will be everywhere... in every phone, website, electric divise, car, and neuralink😂
