If there's something everyone in a community seems to believe that, if contradicted, caused anger in the believers, it is most likely false. At least partially, and is hiding some truth which is being suppressed.
So when I come across such a belief, I contradict it as a rule.

Software is actually accessible to everyone. The woke left are just so captured that their own beliefs won't allow them to adopt certain software because it works against their masters.
In my community, we just laught it off.
