Testing MP3 links. Fun fact, I like to play guitar and this is me playing an intro and verse of one of my favorites. Can you guess the song title and original artist?

When I tested this link in my DM it showed a preview with a little play button. Clicking the play button made it play directly in the DM/post. Clicking the preview opened it in my browser. Hopefully it does the same in public posts.

Link will expire in 6 days so if you’re reading this after that it won’t work any more.

The preview and play button work for me. But it cut off the last part of the text of my post 🤔

Works great! Sounds good too. Can’t name the song tho. 🤙🏻

Awesome thanks! Does the text get cut off? I’m using Damus and the text cuts off at “Hopefully it does the same in p…”

Yes text gets cut off at ‘same in public p…’ im in Damus as well

Apparently it’s a bug with longer posts with links so hopefully should be fixed at some point

Only thing i dont like is when you’re in the home feed, when you click play it takes to one level deeper to the actual note/post… wish it could just play right from main feed or from global. That said, easy enough to swipe back but would be simpler if it just played when you press the button. Maybe in time.

That would be good

As for the song it’s Fire & Rain by James Taylor

Nice man! Sounds great! I like the idea of mp3 files being able to play easily. And you can play em and still scroll on Damus too.

Thanks! Yea I like the idea of being able to do as much as possible in the client without opening other external apps.

It doesn't play in-app on Snort, but it sounds great, my dude. 🤙

Thanks man 🤙

Oh, that's really cool that you play guitar, #[0]. I listened to your audio file clip and enjoyed the riffs. Unfortunately, not much of a rock music enthusiast here (I prefer the subtle voice and slow beats), so not-so-great when it comes to recognizing song titles from intros! But keep on jamming!
