Mastodon has all their stuff relayed here, I removed the Mostr bridge, less disgusting stuff notes ever since.
Nostr gets CSAM all the time too
I haven't noticed any porn content after removing Mostr honestly, they might be in enclaves on relays but none that I'm aware of outside of Mostr which was the worst.
mostr only starts pulling a fedi accounts posts after someone here follows it.

What app are you using, Amethyst, Coracle, Snort, Nos, Nostur, Primal, Voyage, Yaki?

Tap your profile pic on the top left --> click settings --> click network --> scroll down --> if you see one labeled "relay.mostr.pub" click the red minus symbol next to it then click OK, that removes the Mastodon relay.
You can add a new relay by typing the relays information, it usually starts with a wss:// ,you should only add relays of people you follow so thier content shows up on your feed.
Add Relays of people you interact with, unfortunately this doesn't show on Primal since they use their own specialized relays but on other clients (apps) it does.
You can use that information to add or remove relays of content you want to, or don't want to see.
It's a little tricky but basically it's like your phone is an island, and the relays are boats that share information from different islands, adding relays shows most, if not all that information, removing relays stops that information.
But relays share information with each other too :/ , so the task is easier said than done.

Use Damus, Relay settings are more obvious, & it shows what relays people use.
Ideally you should be using an Nsec Bunker/Key manager but I don't know any good ones on ios right now (but if I find one I'll update you).
No, you can use the same keys on any client (kind of the whole point of nostr), if one client is silly or stupid for whatever reason then you can use your keys to move to another client.
I would recommend exploring the ecosystem to see what experience you like once you get the basics down (clients on ios: Nostur, Nos, Freeform, YakiHonne) but for now start with Damus.

It's definitely a learning curve, so be patient, if you're ever lost don't be afraid to use # AskNostr, that's how I've learned a lot the quickest.

A significant amount of the CSAM posted both locally and on fedi instances is to poison the well of free speech and to tar the platforms themselves.
This is not a convenient, efficient or secure way of exchanging this sort of content which is illegal in almost every jurisdiction.
