Secular gods.
For men, possessions.
For women, travel.
Both to signal value, cultivate envious onlookers. Both for a false sense of self worth. Both need Christ.
Leave the empty gods behind.
Forget not the God of self. By placing those thing first we place ourselves above God and are practical atheists.
