It is power-law distributed, but I don't agree.
I made most of my living by creating content. But value4value is a rounding error currently. I can sell a course / book and make a living out of it, so there is market demand for what I create and I get market feedback.
The "problem" with using value4value for me boils down to this: I create niche content. I create a lot of value for a smaller audience (either by using niche language such as Slovak, or my content is specifically tailored to some people). So people will easily buy something worth $100 from me, but they will never "boost" me $100. So that tells me there is something about the feedback mechanism and not inherently in the value I create.
