I disagree. Bitcoin conferences will be obsolete then. Nobody holds internet conferences, or cellphone conferences, or US dollar conferences. There are tech conferences and economic conferences, yes, and there will be sovereign conferences or similar, but by the time Bitcoin is mainstream there will be no point in having Bitcoin conferences.
Bitcoin is a living protocol build on open source code. Bitcoin is it's people, the protocol will be worthless without users. Bitcoin conferences are organized by bit oiners to be among bitcoiners. Its' improvements proposals, and new developments need to be discussed. It's a great excuse to hang out with friends too!
I get it. But you don't see http conferences or imap conferences or tcp/ip conferences. I'm not saying there won't be conferences, I'm saying they won't be "Bitcoin" conferences.
I get your point, but I don’t agree. I think we will keep having them at least for the next decade.
Btw. We never had U.S dollar conferences after Breton woods 🤣.
