Surveillance capitalism has dominated the last decade, without any laws compelling people to use them, these tools have been normalized. People have chosen to be digital slaves for a little extra convenience.

FUCK THIS DYSTOPIA. Freedom tech provides us all the ability to say NO but it requires us to choose the more difficult path.

Conceptually I like this capability , but you’re spot on , we have to make this work off of our own data that’s encrypted and not accessed by anyone but you. It would be impressive to not have to ask someone what they are saying in some other language and even answe them in theirs or to repeat something they told you to pick up on the way home
