Morning pond report is very inviting. Hubs finished the brush hogging on the far side so it’s time to start hauling corn for the deer. I hear so many frogs/toads, birds & insects this morning it’s astounding

Morning Turkey - none of you around the pond in a few, but I just got mine out of pasture so I’d bet their calls will bring some soon enough
Have you had a problem with the wild ones beating up your turks? I lost one of mine because a group of wild turkeys teamed up against one of my manturk.
Mine are behind an electric fence - not that wild ones can’t get in there, but we haven’t seen that happen yet.
That sucks for poor manturk though - I’m sure he fought hard to protect his ladies’ honor
