so I guess when I installed amber I must not have given it permission to use the network on my phone, or somehow that permission got turned off. so it just means that the app wasn't able to reach out into the internet, which means trying to use it as an nsec bunker was failing all the time.

oh ok ty

Yeah, it was just frustrating because on my tablet, I could get Amber to work as a bunker application, but for some reason, on my phone, which I have graphene installed on, it wouldn't work, and I thought it was a problem with graphene. Turns out I'm just an idiot and didn't let the app talk to the internet.

we are all learning.

Where is that setting in Amber? Is that the enbke listening for new connections in the app?

No, it was literally in the graphine permissions.😅 Network permissions were turned off.

Like if you have graphene, go to your apps section, find amber, and then check all the permissions for amber.
