The only reason that socialism appears to work for any length of time is because it's riding on the back of capitalism. The only reason that socialism works is because it has capitalism to support it. And once that socialism verges into full blown communism, totalitarianism, it quickly becomes apparent that it doesn't.

There are no communist countries that have become more prosperous because of communism. Communism has not made one single country more prosperous. It's never happened.

Capitalism has made the entire world more prosperous. Capitalism has allowed for some countries to operate under some guise of socialism for at least a little while. But communism always ends in death. It always ends in destruction.

BUT sadly:

Netto-tax-recipients don’t care

Government employees don’t care

Envious people don’t care

Lovers of lies don’t care

Thieves don’t care

Poor people wanting free stuff don’t care

The socialists know that. They tirelessly work to get 51% of the voters in one of the above categories. Then they take over, get filthy rich, destroy everything, put enemies to death or in jail (and torture them). Again and again. If you live in a place where more than 51% votes socialist sell everything immobile and get out. Most of the people who voted socialist prefer to go under before they acknowledge that they were wrong.

Having family who've lived in Bolivia, watching Evo Morales and the socialistas ruin their country for decades, we make no bones nor apologies about despising socialism and socialistas!

What a terrible system, but the dumbing down of Americans mainly in the schools and colleges, has raised a spoiled and ignorant generation of 20-somethings that advocate for making us all equally poor, productive or not.

Bolivia was bad, thank God they are now on a better path.

American teachers are often socialist propagandists, many openly.

We are hopeful, but so many socialists left in the judiciary and legislature make it very hard for the new president to make changes quickly. One good thing is, they have made it so Americans no longer need a visa, easier to visit! 😊 fingers crossed, hope they can get tips from Presidente Bukele and befriend him...
