He does, probably much better than most people commenting and hating here. Though, he runs a business, and running bitcoin only exchange is almost impossible.

He is running a business in order to make money (possibly holding a significant portion of his wealth in bitcoin). I am sure he understands bitcoin fairly well from different perspectives.

I think you are more likely claiming that the business he is running is unethical and dishonest, which I would not disagree.
