Hi nostr, this gloomy day has come to an end, and so far we've had about 12" of rain in the last 3 days. We might get another round late tonite. Seems to be feast or famine for us when it comes to rain. But i'm thankful that today's power outage only lasted a few hours, and that we were mostly prepared. It was a reminder that we shouldnt take modern conveniences for granted.

I mostly worked on indoor projects today, as it continued to pour rain all day, but i think tomorrow the rain should move out. Anyway, yall have a good evening nostr friends.

12” is wild. We definitely haven’t gotten that much here in Austin.

All of the rain tanks are definitely full though. Swales and deep mulch are sucking up the excess I suppose.

It’ll be 100 before we know it, so I’m enjoying these cool days while they last
