Be careful what you wish for. If Iran and Saudi Stack several million Bitcoin you might have a good reason for the US to actually take the opposite side and ban/discourage Bitcoin. Or maybe just 6102 Saylor and Black Rock.

I'm against countries buying Bitcoin. I'm against some countries more than others.

I’m not worried about nation states getting into the game because it is somewhat inevitable. Just like it has to us, it will change them…for the better.

Unwinding fiat is going to be ugly. The only question is how ugly and in what ways.

(The US has the most bitcoin contained within its borders. Bitcoin getting more adoption is a net benefit to the US because of the # of bitcoiners AND our abundant natural resources.

I don't buy the 6102 in that idea. not only could the government not physically take the corn, but Saylor and especially Black Rock wouldn't let them. there is more power in the economic realm than we might realize.

It also seems like there's no guarantee a nation would be psychologically transformed like an individual would be, at least in the short and probably medium term. They're used to having power and authority. What the medium is to exercise that power means little so long as the same sadistic narcissists who gravitate to positions of authority do so.

In the long term I definitely see it changing nations as it enables and incentivizes a meritocratic rule of law.

Why would Saylor and Black Rock put up any fight at all? They will still be guaranteed power and wealth in some way.

The banks could have told the gov to GFY when they did the original 6102......but did they?.....no,
