I lasted 14h with Primal. Damus is too good. Sorry, not sorry
I’m exactly the same here. Still have the app but no comparison. Damus is too good.
I think I’m biased because I’ve been using it for so long and the improvements are way too useful👊🏾
Nah. Primal is a little slow & there’s other little things that bother me. It’s an app thing. Damus is better.
-nostr.build integration
-can use whatever wallet
-notes and replies show up correctly
-ability to rebroadcast a note
-can share a gif from camera roll

Exactly, and I couldn’t zap half the people I was communicating with. And I think it’s similar the other way around. Some can’t zap the primal addresses

It looks really nice though. And a bunch of nice customizations for the appearance. But Damus is just clean and simple. Everything works
That’s my experience with primal, it looks nice. But then little things you’d expect just aren’t there.
Like when i saw a bunch of people liked a note, and tried to click on one of their profiles, it would just take me to the note.
And not only that but you couldn’t see a list of who liked it outside of that restrained notifications view or number of likes on the note.
This was a while ago and may not be the case. But it left the impression for me that Primal just looks good
Yup. Got rid of the TestFlight which had that wallet connect feature
Same here. Only drawback is the missing functionality to zap notes (I fondly remember the old version)… Primal scores on that one, even though it forces you to use the built-in wallet.
Yeah, Primal is my third choice. Freestr, Nostrudel, Primal.
I can't zap on Primal.
Open settings -- wallet, you can use primal wallet or connect to alby or mutiny
To give a zap, press and hold the lightning icon in the note of a friend you like

I really like it, actually, yes. Still sort of buggy, but he's working hard on it.
Nostrudel has all of the admin and dev functions I need. Fantastic for power-users.
I can write and view long-form articles on Freestr. Might try one tomorrow.
