took his band into the waters of PETAR (Parque Estadual Turístico do Alto Ribeira, São Paulo) to record one of his most iconic performances: Música da Lagoa.

Captured in the documentary Sinfonia do Alto Ribeira, the piece shows why Hermeto is often called the “sorcerer of sound”, fusing nature, improvisation, and jazz into pure magic."
