I play and do okay and I’ve grown to be alright with that. Good conversation topic and my FIL is a big nfl guy so we’ll chat about games - easier to be current when I’m managing a team.
I have two Dynasty teams. I think this will be my last year though. I'm not playing with anyone I know and it does take time and effort.
I play...mostly because I felt left out the years that I didnt.
I probably couldnt name a dozen players from memory.
Was way more into sports 20 years ago, I dont think I have watched an entire sportsball game on tv in years.
Its like I'm a totally different person that shares memories with a stranger.
Damn...that was kind of deep for a post about fantasy football. I need to write that down. Might post it one night to try and harvest some sats.
It definitely is something that absorbs a lot of time and if you don’t make the time, you fall out of the loop really fast!!
Yeah...I usually fall out pretty quick. The boys down at the fiat mine dont always like it.
I even forgot to replace an injured player last year! I caught hell for that. Luckily the league commisioner is pretty obsessed during the season so he gently reminds me when it appears that I have forgotten to check my lineup.
Honestly, I think I enjoy changing my team name and pic throughout the season to correspond with the latest conspiracy more than playing.
