Im 2011 I predicted the biggest fad in tech was app stores. I was very wrong. It is however the biggest threat now. Unfortunately the App Store owners are also the phone manufacturers and default mobile web browsers. The mobile web will win in the end. How do we accelerate it?

The fd up thing is that Apple killed Adobe Flash. And while we got something better as a result, it served Apple's interests. Right now Apple doesn't like being left out of zaps ⚡️ so what will they do to Safari or Webkit to try and prevent it? Hopefully no one is leveraging technologies that may already be on the chopping block.
