Don’t see much discussion in Bitcoiner circles about Curtis Yarvin’s ideas.

One of the more unique thinkers and writers, I really enjoy unpacking his ideas to challenge my own assumptions and beliefs and see things through a different lens.

If you’re not familiar with his work, give his substack article “Bitzion: how Bitcoin becomes a state” a read. Makes Balaji look like an amateur.

Intresting Ill add this to my read list.

nope

I instantly don’t like it on its face

thesis of the article is bitcoin needs governance by humans..this will improve it..make it stronger and better

unilaterally bad take

let’s imagine a parliament of ‘bitcoin representatives’ charged with oversight of the protocol

chosen by who? and how?

bitcoin is beautiful because of the absence of humans mucking about with it

it’s the code and nothing more

get humans involved in ‘oversight’ and it’s doomed

It’s ok bro, relax 😂 he’s just exploring it as a thought exercise through his lens.

Think of it as monarchical praxeology. #[3] might be interested in that..

Alright, going to check this out later today. When I get home I have to go to bed, and I want to study it carefully 🤙

lol no problem

I appreciate all viewpoints

this one made me grumpy immediately haha
