A well intentioned person gave us this small, wood fired oven for Christmas.

Its really more of a novelty item for suburbanites than something which can endure serious use. But for the sake of the sweet intentions of the person who gave it to us, I set out to make it as legit as possible.

So i rebuilt both the firebox and oven chamber, adding thick layers of unglazed terra cotta tiles.

Now this little sucker burns. 🔥

Got it up to 650 degrees last night, and cooked a smoky, wood fired, deer sausage pizza. 🤤🙂🔥🪵❤️
