Keith, I can identify with that behavior!!

And so a visit into the roof myself would definitely be happening, BUT ..... With a nod to the orthopedic surgeon I went to a few years ago , who told me:

"Ladders and men over 35 are how my 3 children went to college, debt free. " So: let's be careful out there!!

Yeah, I'll def wait until it dries out, but I have a VERY healthy fear of heights so I'm super careful the rare times I have to go up there. The leak is in the flat part of my roof. The sloped parts were totally reshingled a few years ago and should be good for a few decades. But the flat part is some flame-melted rubberized thing that's probably developing cracks.
