😵 More than 221 CHILDREN, including INFANTS BARELY ONE YEAR OLD, have been RAPED in Sudan amid the ongoing civil war tearing the country apart. UNICEF condemns these acts, calling them crimes of extreme gravity that should "shock the depths of everyone’s conscience." The organization highlights that these assaults are part of a systematic use of sexual violence as a weapon of war. All parties involved in the conflict, including the government army, are accused of committing rapes, mutilations, and other atrocities against civilians.

⚠️ Since April 2023, Sudan has been engulfed in a brutal conflict between Army Chief Abdel Fattah al-Burhan and his former deputy, Mohamed Hamdan Daglo, leader of the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF). This war has caused tens of thousands of deaths and forced nearly 10 MILLION PEOPLE TO FLEE, leading the UN to label the crisis as the WORLD’S WORST HUMANITARIAN CATASTROPHE.
